Guide woven from white cord and stiffened with starch or white glue; eighteen (18) rows of twenty-eight (28) square openings; sides and top taped with shipping tape; hinged with packing tape to board cut down from a brown cardstock folder; pink sheet of paper features sample work in pen and pencil.

Provenance:
From the professional papers of Dr. Ralph Bartley, former Superintendent of the Kansas School for the Blind, Kentucky School for the Blind, and director of educational reseach at APH from 2003 until 2016. Seems to be part of a class Bartley took at Northern Illinois University while studying for his M.S. Bartley remembered teacher arriving to his Methods class with an egg crate full of adapted materials.
