Description:
Black-and-white photograph is an enlarged copy of a 1967 original print. Photo shows students in the Michigan School for the Blind choir and their choir director, facing front and standing in three rows on the school's auditorium stage with closed curtains in the background. Seventeen girls are standing in the bottom row, including Carol Osmar (ninth from left, wearing eyeglasses) who donated the photo to the museum; the choir director (at far left) and 15 girls are in the middle row, on a riser; and 13 boys are on a riser in the top row, including Stevland Morris (Stevie Wonder), who is sixth from the left and has dark eyeglasses. Students are wearing choir robes with stand-up collars and plain V-stoles; the director's robe does not have a stole.

Provenance:
Donor attended the Michigan School for the Blind and was a member of the school's choir. She had the enlarged print made from a 5 x 7 in. original that belongs to her.
