It describes the building of the Kentucky Institution for the Education of the Blind, Louisville, KY, and some of the student activities. It also mentions the American Printing House for the Blind which was then housed in the school's building. Seven hand-colored illustrations of the school and student activities are printed on page 268. The illustrations are sketches by Walter Goater.
