Description:
Two side-by-side views of the Iowa College for the Blind, Vinton, for 3-D viewing with a stereoscope. Black and white photos, affixed to heavy card stock, show the front and one side of the multistoried school building. Printed on the back is "Stereoscopic views of Vinton and Vicinity. Iowa College for the Blind--Series. Published by H. A. Jordan, Washington St., Vinton, Iowa." Beneath this is printed a list of 14 views in the series. "View from northeast gate" is underlined. Photos are slightly faded; photo on the right has a small (approx. 1/4 in.) stain at center left edge.
