Provenance:
Eastman-Kodak, the company known for introducing the first cameras for household use in the 1880s, also developed and maintained a line of equipment and accessories for the printing industry. Maxine Floden remembered using the cutter to trim braille embossing plates as early as 1961. It was found when the braille floor was reorganized in the 1990s.
