Bright stamped-aluminum board stamped with twenty-four (24) rows of twenty-three (23) inverse braille cells; frames have rounded corners; top-hinged open frame to secure the paper has column of eleven guide holes on each side; hinge is riveted to top frame; "1080" stamped into both writing guide and board; stamped nickel-plated brass guide, with two lines of twenty-three cells, has brass pins on the back to fit into the guide holes on the sides of the frame, guide has two raised and rounded wings on sides which wrap around upper frame, right wing has a small 1/8" diameter cutout on edge.
