USA"; plastic reservoir underneath captures paper "chads"; (b) carrying case with hinged lid secured by two latches; wood covered with leatherette; punch secured on two felt covered stands with two plastic clips screwed into the stands; tinplate and plastic punch card cubby in lid; faux leather plastic handle; nickel plated steel hardware, stamped "PRESTO LOCK CO."

Used by donor in his job as a computer programmer for Miles Laboratories in Elkhart, IN. From donor, "I was given this machine by a rehab counselor in Indiana early in my programming career. As with the card reader, knowledge of the Haloreth code was necessary to use this machine to punch data cards. For two years I used this device for a portion of my work. Then my employer purchased a LED-120 Braille terminal for me, for entering job input."
