The writer has a hard plastic base and is made of highly polished metal. Dots 1, 2, and 3 under ring, middle, and index fingers of right hand. Dots 4, 5, and 6 similarly located for the left hand. A metal plate on the top reads "Light Brailler." There is an inscription on the bottom in Japanese. Serial number is 21586. Item has a lightweight blue metal case.
