Provenance:
An interlining slate allowed the user to braille both sides of the paper by alternating lines of braille from front to back of the paper.
The National Institute for the Blind had introduced its small interlining braille frame as early as 1932 with a solid wood board, but by 1968 the board was made of composition board. NIB Cat#9017c.
