Made of white plastic, it has five rows of rotating wheels, each marked with the braille numerals 0-9, arranged in 5 columns and permanently affixed to the calculaid board; addition, subtraction, and multiplication signs appear on a wheel at the left of each row; frame at the top of the board can hold a Numberaid (an abacus also designed by Schott). "Calculaid" --appears in the plastic at top left.

This item is one of the Schott Mathematical Aids developed by Andrew F. Schott of Milwaukee, Wisconsin for braille numerical recording. APH sold 1,436 of the items between 1964 and 1968 according to figures in the annual report. Item was removed from the KSB History Room.
