The APH Headset Adapter was introduced in the 1972 catalog. It allowed up to four listeners to use a talking book reproducer or cassette player at the same time, each able to adjust the volume to suit their needs. Discontinued in 1993. It was replaced in the 1994-95 catalog with the Listening Post Audio Splitter (cat# 1-00941-00) which was designed for the smaller 1/8" mini-plugs. This example belonged to the Louisiana Instructional Materials Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Baton Rouge, LA.
