The module "allows recorded speech to be increased or decreased without pitch distortion." -- APH product sheet. . Introduced in 1976, present in the 1981 catalog, but out of the catalog by 1984. A digital version, APH Speech Expressor, was introduced in 1999. Used licensed technology from the VSC Corporation.
