Leslie Durst, director of the Indiana Educational Resource Center, located at the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, in Indianapolis, began serving as an Ex Officio Trustee (EOT) of the American Printing House for the Blind (APH) over twenty years ago. She talks about the importance of APH products and their continued development, specifically mentioning Book Port, Next Generation Brailler, Building on Patterns, MathBuilders, Azer's Interactive Periodic Table, All-in-One Board, and ToAD and TADPOLE. She describes her experience serving on EOT committees and notes the company's responsiveness with resource services that have included ATIC (Accessible Textboook Initiative and Collaboration); Louis, the database of accessible materials; NIMAC (National Instructional Materials Access Center); the Migel Library Collection; and the electronic registration of Federal Quota census data.
