Scope & Content:
William Daugherty, superintendent of the Texas School for the Blind, became an Ex Officio Trustee (EOT) of the American Printing House for the Blind (APH) in 1993, when he was appointed superintendent of the Kansas State School for the Blind. He talks about the EOT committees on which he has served and their reorganization into the current ESAC (Educational Services Advisory Committee) and EPAC (Educational Products Advisory Committee); APH products that he finds particularly useful, including the Chang Tactual Diagram Mobility Kit; APH improvements, including increased communications between EOTs and the company; APH modernization; and the importance of APH's annual meeting.
