Description:
Tintype shows a head-and-shoulders portrait of an elderly man whose eyes appear to be very light in color. He is wearing a dark jacket, vest, and bow tie. Cheeks are lightly tinted. Tintype is taped to a white mat with an oval-shaped opening surrounded by an embossed design. Reverse of mat is blank. White tape has yellowed; mat is slightly soiled.
