Sepia-toned photo mounted on card stock. Photo shows a young blind woman seated at a table, reading a book by touch. Her hair is worn up. Her plaid dress has pleated cuffs with lace trim, a high neckline with pleated trim and a tied bow that ends in fringe. Reverse of carte has a decorative border, a center illustration of two children by a still camera, and the following in print: "Hammersley's Fine Art Gallery. 520 Franklin Av. St. Louis, Mo. Duplicates of this Picture can be had for Two Years." Card stock has darkened.
