Rigid aluminum long cane; 1/2" diameter tube; red cast aluminum stylized crook secured to shaft of cane with hex key; black rubber "GRIP RITE" putter style grip; shaft wrapped in white Scotchlite reflective tape, 6" band of red tape above screw-in 1/2" diameter pencil tip.

The "Equipoise" cane was made by Macam Devices in Somerset, CA. Its weighted crook was designed to balance the cane's shaft and make it feel lighter in the hand. It appeared in the AFB catalog as early as 1973 ($8.25) and was still in the ACB catalog in 1985.
