Long Cane

Nickel plated, stamped steel long cane, force fitted 5/8" diameter aluminum crook handle, 3.5" interior diameter; aluminum button cap on open end of crook; shaft tapers in segmented increments from 9/16" where it enters handle to 5/16" for its last 11" above tip; nickel plated steel glide tip with black rubber friction fit ferule.

The glide tip was introduced by the American Foundation for the Blind on its canes in 1948.
