Introduced in 1965, the inverter was an upward-writing tactile graphics tool used with braillon paper (from American Thermoform). The user could construct simple diagrams by embossing a series of dots. The paper was placed on a rubber pad during the embossing process. It is still in the catalog as of 2015.

Found in office of Jim Hill at APH, former machinist in APH machine shop. Hill later served as head of security.
