Provenance:
APH introduced its science measurements kit in 1970, developed by the APH Instructional Materials Reference Center. The kit included four adapted measurement devices: ruler, spring (dial) balance, pan balance, and thermometer. These pieces appear to be prototype materials, as the assorted weights are of different design than was used in the final production model.
