Provenance:
Let's See was a revision of an earlier product with a similar aim, Bright Sights: Learning to See, which appeared for the first time in the APH catalog in 1986. Bright Sights was also divided into two kits: Sensory and Perceptual, and was designed to help develop visual efficiency in young children. By the end of the 1990s, research had revealed that UV light, such as that emitted by the Flicker Light included in Bright Sights, was harmful to developing eyes. APH stopped selling Bright Sights with a black light and began developing a new kit, under the leadership of Elaine Kitchel, which became known as Let's See when it was released in 2002. It contained many of the same basic materials as its predecessor. This kit was recovered from the APH Display Room where it had been used to demonstrate the new kit to visitors.
