Plaster cast mold inside a black wooden frame; map is painted and covered with shellac or varnish; includes islands of Pacific and Indian Coasts; mountainous areas are prominent; rivers not discernible by touch; paper labels with print are glued to map surface. Paint finish on North Asia is damaged; map is loose within frame on right side; several labels are totally or partially missing.
