The black and white photo is mounted on a gray card. It shows a blind man wearing tinted eyeglasses and a wide-brimmed dark hat. He is holding a cane in his right hand. He is wearing a white shirt with a dark jacket and a dark handkerchief in the left pocket. He has a full white beard and mustache. Vendor dates item as pre-1940. "J.B. Guthrie, Jackson, GA." --front of card, at bottom right. Back of card is blank. Card had 3/4 in. tear along center left edge.
