Description:
Tintype shows a girl, possibly teen-aged, who appears to be visually impaired seated on a willow chair. She is holding an infant in her lap. The girl is wearing a long dark dress with moderately puffed sleeves that have lengthy cuffs, and a vest that matches the cuff material and has a bar pin at the top. Her hair is pulled back, with bangs, and on her head is a straw hat trimmed with berries(?). The infant is wearing a long gown with long puffed sleeves. Scratches on front; emulsion has flaked along bottom left edge.
