Description:
Tintype shows a head-and-shoulders portrait of an elderly man wearing eyeglasses that may be tinted. There is some pink tinting on his face. Mat is white with an oval opening surrounded by decorative embossing. Reverse is printed with an advertisement for the Gem Picture Gallery, No. 9 N. Gay Street, G.W. Hewitt & Co. Mat is slightly soiled. Tintype has a horizontal crease across middle with some flaking.
