Sepia-toned photo is mounted on a white card. Photo shows a man seated on an upholstered, fringe-trimmed chair. His right arm is resting on an ornately carved table. He has a beard and mustache, and his hair covers his ears. He is wearing dark eyeglasses and dark trousers with matching vest and long coat. On the back of the carte, at center, is printed "Stein Bros., Photographers, Opposite the Court House, Ravenna, O." A light green decorative pattern frames the printed words. At bottom is printed "Duplicates of this Picture can be had an any time." Slight foxing and small stains on photo. Cartes de visite were popular during the Civil War era.
