Pins down version of APH postcard slate not found in 1963 catalog. First appearance in 1969 , and discontinued by 1984. A six-line pins-down postcard slate was introduced by 2005. The feature allowed the frame to be opened and the braille read without removing the paper from the slate. Labeled in fashion that suggests APH was researching educational tools, primarily writing tools, from competing manufacturers, ca. 1965.
