Two side-by-side views of a blind man watching a young woman pull up her stocking, made for 3-D viewing in a stereoscope. Sepia-toned photos are mounted on heavy gray card stock. "Sold only by Universal View Co., Philadelphia Pa. Lawrence Kan." printed along front left edge. "William H. Rau. Publisher, Philadelphia, U.S.A." printed along front right edge. "Helping the Blind. Series of 1904, by E. W. Kelley" printed on front at bottom right. The man is dressed in a dark suit and is wearing tinted eyeglasses. A sign that reads "Please Help the Blind" is resting on his lap. The woman is wearing an elaborate hat and high-top boots. Her dress has wide sleeves and the hem meets the tops of her boots.
